Over $5,000 Raised for Our Homelessness Initiative!

The Purple Lotus Commons Inc. is proud to announce that we have already raised over $5,000 through our community thrift store to support our homelessness and transitional housing initiatives in Winnipeg!

Every dollar raised through our thrift store goes directly toward supporting The Purple Lotus Commons and its charitable mission. Unlike many organizations, The Purple Lotus Commons does not have to use its fundraising proceeds to pay storefront rent. These expenses are generously covered by Muddy Waters Moving Company Inc. and Talk Junk (TalkJunk.ca), allowing us to direct more resources toward helping individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, and housing insecurity.

Although all three organizations operate under one roof, we share a common commitment to strengthening our community and creating meaningful opportunities for those in need.

As we continue to grow, we are also exploring the possibility of opening a second thrift store to increase fundraising, expand our community outreach, and help even more people throughout Winnipeg.

Every purchase, every donation, and every act of kindness helps us move closer to our goal of providing safe, affordable transitional housing and essential community support.
